After becoming a Superstar, naturally the remuneration pocket by any star would be high, and it is no exaggeration that Mahesh Babu charges more than 25 crores for a film. But then, he has decided to reduce the burden of paying him on his producer’s shoulders and hence taking shares.
Recently producer Anil Sunkara himself clarified that Mahesh Babu hasn’t charged a penny in advance from him for Sarileru Neekevvaru and hinted that the hero will be taking a share in the film’s sales. Reports are coming that Mahesh will be getting more than what he charges if he goes through this share system.
Reportedly he is said to be pocketing almost 35 crores from the sales of Sarileru Neekevvaru as the film has reached beyond its expectations after the small title teaser got unveiled. Without taking a single penny advance, this is the best way for superstars to work with producers and Mahesh is following Chiranjeevi’s style of working as the Megastar used to own Nizam rights earlier as his pay packet.
With the film being helmed by proven director Anil Ravipudi, marking the comeback of veteran heroine Vijayasanthi and presence of glamorous diva Rashmika Mandanna, are all adding to the business. Maybe the craze might have resulted in superb sales, leading Mahesh to pocket more.
